I could listen to him reading the telephone book. Apart from Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption my favourite movie of his is the 51st State.

Hes good at what he does, but it does annoy me when hes called 'omg best actor ever XD' etc, the man has next to no range[or rarely chooses to show it] he seems to play the same character in every movie hes in, with rare slight alterations. That being said , hes still good at what he does.

I was in New York three years. Myself and a few mates had just left the cinema after watching The Departed. As we were walking along the street, one of my mates suddenly says 'Jesus Christ, it's Morgan Freeman.' I whip around to see who he's looking at. There's Morgan Freeman, standing on the street, grinning. I, being a Freeman fan, was instantly star-struck and stood there, slack-jawed, staring at the man. Something then struck me. Morgan Freeman wasn't moving very much. In fact, he wasn't moving at all. He was just standing there, grinning. Then, the realisation dawned on me. We were standing outside Madame Tussaud's. I had been star-struck by a waxwork.

But yeah, the guy's a legend. Instant gravitas.
