The Dunbia Meat Factory in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath have opened a factory shop. It's been opened for a few weeks now but they have recently moved from the factory on the Clara road into a shop unit on the Main Street in Kilbeggan. Beside the Black Kettle pub, for anybody who knows the area.

I was there today and they had lots of stock and all at really good prices.

Strip Lion Steaks are just €9 per kilo, with other types of steak coming in between €9 and €10 per kilo. Unlike the supermarkets, these are everyday prices.

They had bags of diced beef, minced beef, fillet steak, roast joints, etc. Alll products are vac packed.

The steak I bought today was packed yesterday and has a best before date of 30th Dec.
