    Hi FolKS

The water has stopped coming out of my windscreen washer and it sounds like the motor is not working any more. I suspect the pump was on its way out a while and now this has strained the motor and caused it to go.Is this a difficult item to replace and any tips. I figure as its an old car and I am tight on budget I would try it myself.

    Thanks Joey

Thats cool thats what I am thinking but is it a difficult job. Do you replace everything including the bottle of just the motor and pump. Thanks

Don't know what the setup in the corsa is ...in my joke it would be a 10 minute job ...unscrew the old tank (which usually contains the pump) unplug the piping and electric connectors and put the new one in.

Depending on where it is, the most difficult bit will be getting at the screws.

    EDIT:

In all the washer tanks that I've looked at so far, the pump was either inside or bolted/welded/cast to the tank. They usually are cheapo pumps and not really meant to be replaced on their own.
