Hi guys i am having problems with the bluetooth headset i bought today for modern warfare 2.

All im trying to do is get the ps3 to recognise it. When i go to "Manage Bluetooth Devices" i start the ps3 to scan for the headset but all it does is sit there saying scanning... i left it for more than 30mins and its still scanning.

anyone have any idea whats wrong?

    this is the headset http://www.redhotukoffers.com/deals/GameOn_PS3_Compatible_Bluetooth_Headset_/2arg5669013/0_694

I thought you had to connect headset to PS3 with USB cable(one time only) so it "sees" it, after that it knows it's there.

Did you set the headset to pairing mode ?

Cant see that link, but on my headset I had to hold down the on button on the headset for 12secs or so while the ps3 was scanning for it to recognise the headset. Can't remember if I had the headset plugged into the USB cable or not but try both. I'd say whatever the problem is it's pretty trivial, make sure you follow the instructions to the letter.

Thanks alot its working now. It didn't say to hold down the button while it was scanning on the instructions, i just had it on.

    Thanks again!
