    Just ordered an 8" Skywatcher Reflector on a dobsonian mount. Can't wait to start stargazing. Saw Jupiter and 4 of it's moons on a 3 1/2 inch reflector - 8" is really going to expand my horizons, literally.

    So happy :)

    Tried to get saturn but the clouds were in the way. Got a lovely glimpse of the orion nebula. Jupiter seems to go too early in the day to get a shot :(

    And dont forget to "get ya ass to mars". It comes to opposition this month so it will be at its best 29/1/10.

    "opposition" means it is opposite to the sun in the sky and it is therefor visible all night long.
