I got the Lions DVD for my father for Christmas, 'Living with the Pride.'

It's along the same lines as the 1997 documentary 'Living with the Lions.' and features behind the scenes footage of the tour such as players training and their thoughts on things.

If it's even half as good as the 1997 one then it would be great. I've heard good things about it.

There's also an Irish DVD out, 'Ireland's Grand Slam Glory.'

It features all the matches and post and pre match interviews.

Though reading the description on the Sky Sports website, I think they've gotten something wrong.
Ireland's Grand Slam Glory is the official story of Ireland's 2009 RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam on DVD. It features all 5 matches, in their entirety, from Ireland's turbulent and glorious path towards clinching their 2nd Grand Slam title, plus pre-match build-ups and post-match interviews, and an interview with Irish 1948 Grand Slam legend, George Hook.

:D:D:D. I'd say George Hook could convince anybody here that he was a member of that squad :D

Personally Id go for the Grand Slam DVD even though it could have been better.

Best of the decade would be cool.

I'd avoid the 2009 Lions, it's good but not great. Was a bit disappointed with how it turned out. Only a few players are prominent. It's been seriously edited too which ruins the feel of it. Hardly any match highlights because there is a seperate DVD for that.

1997 Lions on the other hand is raw and brilliant. Gripping to the end and non-rugby people will get great entertainment from it too:

OP, it's better than any Irish Rugby DVD out there.

There was a DVD out a while ago where a panel picked the best 15 ever to play for ireland. Can't remember the name of it though im afraid. Sorry that's not much use.

The 2001 Lions series DVD is excellent and better than the two Sth African tour DVDs in my opinion.
Not only do you get behind-the-scenes in a really good tour but also an extra DVD with highlights of every game that was played (something missing on the others).
The 2007 Reaching for Glory DVD is as about as close as you'll get to the backroom of the Irish team. I like it.

I played it safe and got Ireland's Grand Slam Glory. Thanks for all the replies.
