Received a notice to quit order from the council due to rent arrears the date is for tomorrow. what will happen? does anyone have any experience what happens if i dont leave? I am trying to arrange a loan to pay the arrears but the council wont wait the 2 weeks it will take to get it organised. Will they force me out tomorrow eg. enter the house and remove me and my things? I havent eaten and barely slept since last week. Feel like i have let my girls down am contemplating asking my mum to take them in and doing away with myself! I've become a total and utter fcuk up and really believe they are so much better off without me around.

I seriously doubt it. They are likely to need an eviction order to have you removed.

There is no need for that. Sure, money can be important, but it isn't everything. While you may not feel great now, imagine how hard it would be for your family and how much happier that they are that you are with them for Christmas. Whatever faults you might think you have, you are still family.

You sound like you need someone to talk to and someone to advocate for you. I would really like you to take to someone, whether its the friends, family, the Samaritans or other support group. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055624068

Then, make an appointment with MABS and your council housing officer.
