Replacing DSL splitter with a wall socket?

It looks like my DSL splitter is starting to give trouble, I started getting disconnected, and if I connect the router directly to the phone socket everything works fine.

So I'm thinking that a much cleaner solution would be to just replace the wall socket with one that has an inbuilt filter. I'm just not sure where to get it, and all this talk of 3-wire connections and weird UK plugs has me confused.

Could anyone recommend a replacement, either from an online store or bricks&mortar, doesn't matter :)
