    Hi,

I know there's already a super league thread running but I wanted to get people's prediction for the upcoming season - nail your colours to a mast and stand by your word!

Who do you think will be:

    Champions -

    Bottom Club -

Surprise Package of 2010 (club) -

    Man of Steel -

Young Player of the Year -

    Best Import/big name signing -

    Best "low-key" signing (a la Shaun Lunt 2009) -

    Top points scorer -

    Top Try Scorer -

(If there are any other categories you can think of...just shout them out!)

Looking forward to some interesting predictions....

    Part 1

Champions - Warrington (maybe next season we will see the Saints- Leeds monopoly broken. They have recruited well with a coach that knows how to win a Grand final.

    Bottom Club - Crusaders (again)

Surprise Package Club - Wakefield (again!);)

Man of Steel - Adrian Morley

Young Player of the Year - Kyle Eastmond

Best Import/ big name signing - Greg Eastwood (Leeds)

Best "low-key" signing - Daryl Millard (Wakefield)

Top points scorer - Kevin Sinfield

Top Try Scorer - Damien Blanch:rolleyes:

Challenge Cup Winners - Wakefield (47 years since the last win - surely it's time for another :()

Know this is like a turkey voting for Christmas, but I really hope this year that we don't get a two horse race between Leeds/Saints...for the record I reckon this season is going to be massively competitive and I'm expecting big things from Wigan, Bradford, KR and Huddersfield.

    Champions - Saints/Leeds/Wigan/Huddersfield

    Bottom Club - Crusaders, comfortably.

Surprise Package of 2010 (club) - Salford City Reds

Man of Steel - James Graham

Best Import/big name signing - Matt Orford

Best "low-key" signing (a la Shaun Lunt 2009) - Jamie Cording.

Top points scorer - Kyle Eastmond/Kevin Sinfield

Top Try Scorer - Ryan Hall

Will need some time on the young player of the year!

Whilst agree that next seasons SL should certainly continue the trend in becoming an even closer more exciting competition, I really don't think Bradford will be one of the teams challenging.

They have been on the slide for a few seasons now, they have undergone a big squad upheaval with a completely new midfield triangle of Orford, Kearney and Godwin, they are also going to be very reliant on a lot of inexperienced youngsters to step-in to cover for injuries.

Unfortunately, they have a coach who has yet to show he is capable of overcoming all of these challenges.

Coach most likely to lose their job next season - McNamara / Agar

    Champions - St Helens

    Bottom Club - Crusaders (unfortunately)

Surprise Package of 2010 (club) - Castleford

Man of Steel - Dallas Johnson

Young Player of the Year - Richard Owen (not sure what the criteria is; if you're supposed to have played less than a certain number of SL games then he won't be eligible). Maybe Lee Mossop

Best Import/big name signing - Dallas Johnson. After him it'd Greg Eastwood

Best "low-key" signing (a la Shaun Lunt 2009) - Jay Pitts

Top points scorer - Kevin Richards

Top Try Scorer - Ryan Hall
