Steering Issue

I have noticed my car which is front wheel drive dragging to the left when I accelerate and straightening up again when i come off the pedal. I also notice a certain amount of play in the steering when I go over a bad bump.
The back wheels were recently swapped with the fronts and maybe this has something to do with it I don't know. Any Ideas?

Sounds like play in the drive train or steering. Bring it to a garage or you could try an early NCT. With the latter though they might chuck it after they find the first problem if more than one exists.

EDIT: make sure your wheel lug nuts have been tightened properly after the wheel rotation.

Might be tie-rods. Any noise from the front end over rough surfaces. ?
