    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good relationship counsellor that stays away from religious ideals? I have been going out with my boyfried for 9 years and the last year has been really really tough. We are constantly at each other and the fun is gone completely. We love each other, but the question is are we still ‘in-love’? There are other serious issues financially that are not making things any easier. I am not willing to give up on the relationship without trying to make it work but I think we need help to do this.

When I google it there are lots of counsellors but I want to go to someone good – affording it will be difficult so I want it to be worthwhile.

    Cheers,
    T

    Hi,

Have you tried going to your GP for a referral?

Unfortunately I can't recommend anyone for you.

Also, it might be worthwhile to mention the general area that you're in, as a guide for anyone who might be a position to help.

    Best of luck.

Hi OP, I can't PM you, nor do I want to put her details here. Go the the IACP website member search:

    http://www.irish-counselling.ie/index.php/members-search

Use Kickham as the keyword and you'll find her listing:

She's VERY good, and the most completely non-religious, and non life-style judgemental that I've found...

    Hi,

I presume that Kickham is the address and not a surname?

    Cheers,
