Anyone know if there's any possible way to print out text messages from an iPhone? Weird question I know... have problems with ex employer and will need a hard copy if it goes to court...

Bit of a workaround but if you take a screenshot of the texts (press power and home button similtaeneously) the shots will be stored in your camera roll then email them to a computer and print off!

But why wouldn't you just copy and paste the actual text into an email and print that off?

Don't know about you guys but takng screen grabs or copying and pasting texts into an email just seems like a huge task.

Personally I just use phoneview. Three clicks and I have my entire SMS library backed up in either plain text or XML format.

Simon201 - can't just copy and paste cause it will only be text, won't show time and date or who it's from... Otherwise it could just be text I've written??!

I think screen shots gives me all the info Id need..

Mucst check out phoneview, does that show sender and time and date?

Well that's true I suppose, although the text files that contain all your text messages in Phoneview can also could be edited by yourself, so I'd say if it came to a court situation they'd be looking at getting details from your network provider.

Incidently Phoneview is excellent as it continuously archives your text messages as opposed to the 100 (is it still 100?) on the phone itself. As well as that you have a call log that archives as well and it's been real handy sometimes, in fact I've just used it recently to prove to my employers that I was in work, and making work related phone calls on two days in January that they claimed I was on holiday!!
