Rechargeable batteries in something that doesn't state it uses rechargeable batteries

    Probably the wrong forum but...

Can I put rechargeable batteries in something that does not specifically state that it takes rechargeable batteries?

My mum bought battery operated LED lights for around her crib. Ordinary batteries wear out pretty quickly in them. If I lent her my rechargeable batteries would I cause her lights or my batteries irreparable harm?

    Thank you for any answers!:)

There should be no problem at all. Get some NiMh 2700 mah capacity batteries - if they take AAs - and you will get longer run times than with alkalines at a tiny fraction of the cost.
