Well what is it? everyone must have one.. so why does it have a special place in your heart? post a youtube link, tell us why you liked it and maybe if everybodies up for it at the end we can have a vote/poll for the top 3 matches..

Rob Van Dam/Sabu vs Hayabusa and Jinsei Shinzaki.. ECW Heatwave 98

Basically i managed to get my hands on a bucketload of ECW videos in 2000(for £3 each, later sold for a tidy profit;)) and this was the first match i saw, my jaw was firmly on the floor the whole time, and it educated me on a wrestling alternative to WWF..

Hogan/Slaughter is one of my all time favourites and possibly my overall favourite, but Shawn/Bret from SS 92 runs it very close. Love Heenans commentary for that match.

probably michaels and HHH at summerslam 2002, michaels comeback match after 4.5 years away, great effort all round by both men, best match on what is arguably wwe/f greatest ever ppv (well easily top 3 anyway), oh and i was there ringside :D

For me its a toss up between:

Undertaker Vs Mankind (Hell in a cell '98)

Undertaker Vs Shawn Michaels (WM 2009)

Both of these matches are classics.

Kenta Kobashi/Mitsuharu Misawa Vs Toshiaki Kawada/Akira Taue 9/6/95

Unquestionably the greatest match of all time, this is pure wrestling perfection. Everyone needs to watch this match at least once in their lives. I've seen it more times than I care to know, yet it gets better every time. Layer upon layer of awesomeness, nothing has or ever will come near this. I love it dearly.

Right, I'm not going to give years and events because I can't remember them all.

    Here's a few:
I could pimp my favourite out by going colour commentator, but I'll just say it's the first ever WWF ladder match for the intercontinental title at WMX. My hero won.

An easy one would be the Bret screwed Bret match.
Dude, the winner is predetermined. Get over it.
It was a good hour of wrestling though. The viewers won that one as far as I'm concerned.

Hart vs Benoit on Nitro was great.
I remember watching Nitro and hoping for both that and Jericho vs HBK.

My favourite match of all time would be Bret vs Owen at Wrestlemania 10. I love this match.

    Other matches I love
Shawn vs Razor Ramon Ladder match WM 10
Taker vs Shawn HIAC Badd Blood 97
Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2003

Old enough to remember Steamboat-Savage in Wrestlemania 3. On Sky (not "One", not "Sports", just "Sky") live at about 2am Sunday morning in the Pontiac Silvedome. "Pay-Per-View" was still years away.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I'm extremely jealousof being at ringside at SummerSlam 2002! It's my favourite WWE PPV and I bought it on DVD despite having taped the show...

My favourite match is The Rock vs Hulk Hogan at WMX8. My favourite wrestler when I was a kid (Hogan), in the guise as my favourite heel of all time (Hollywood Hogan) vs my favourite wrestler of all time (The Rock). Needless to say I was completely emotionally invested in the match. I still remember watching the match with my bro, my mates and his mates all bundled into our appartment, SCREAMING at the TV as we got completely swept up in a wave of nostalgia, chanting for Hogan. It was so awesome. I actually got a VCR the other day and popped that bad boy in. It still amazes me, seeing the crowd reaction (and the surprise and bitterness of JR, having to admit to a pro-Hogan crowd)

The match itself is technically pretty crap, but my God, everyone was just glued to the screen. It was really emotional! I lost my voice screaming. I felt so bad for this one girl that hadn't watched wrestling with us before, and hearing us scream at 3am watching Hulk Hogan....Anyway,It was an amazing experience and probably my top favourite wrestling memory ever.

Undertaker Vs Mankind (Hell in a cell '98) - Wow! I was only a young'un but yeah, ranks way up there!

HH vs HBK at SS 2002

Angle vs Benoit at the rumble, think it was 03,just an amazing match!
Flair vs HBK at mania 24 is a close second though for the emotion alone...

Iron Man at WrestleMania. The 12yr old kid in me that had the day off school the next day and watched that match twice wouldn't have it any other way :p
