    ......why is it that I heard it was really good and I am immensley bored watching it????

    Got a lend of Season 1 DVD and I have watched 5 episodes and it kinda seems like Desperate Housewives with the backdrop of casual dope dealing?

    Do I keep watching because if great things happen I am willing to commit but from what I have seen so far it is not really doing it for me.

    Is it a slow burner???

    That's exactly how I felt. Five episodes in and I was just utterly disinterested and just couldn't muster any enthusiasm to go further - so I haven't. Just couldn't see what the fuss was about as nothing in in it - characters, storyline, premise - interested me.

    It is a great show. But definitely a slow burner. A classic case of grows on you...

    I haven't been able to get the theme song out of my head for the last month either for some reason...

    It is indeed a slow burner, at least early on - I only started watching it this summer and watched all previous 4 seasons back-to-back, plus season 5 that was airing at the time. It gets really good in season 2 and 3, though from season 4 onwards things have been going in a pretty odd direction and season 5 is pretty underwhelming in places.

    Still good though and if you have the luxury of watching entire seasons at a time, it's easier to stick with.

    First 2 seasons are great.. then it descends into mediocity!

    It's gotten worse and worse. Gave up 2 - 3 episodes into the latest season!

    Ah weeds is great, Season 2-3-4 are v good-you'll fly through them

    Without Andy and Doug at their best it's not worth watching at all. With them, it's entertaining.

    Feel the same way as the OP. I've the first season watched and a few of the second and can't really see the point of it, about one laugh every two episodes. By looking at the repsonses I'm confused what to do.
