Made a mistake with christmas gift. Should I still give it?

    I was out doing Christmas shopping last weekend. I got the majority of it done.

    I got vouchers for my mam and I was looking for a present to go with the vouchers. I was in easons and I saw a book. Its tv3's tara king's book of beauty tips. Knowing that my mam likes a beauty expert on tv3, I thought it would be perfect! But didn't I realise today that theres another beauty expert from tv3 and I think her name is laura birmingham and thats the 1 my mam likes.

    So just wondering should I still give the book as a present to my mam for Christmas or should I go out and find something else to give.

    Do you think she'll like it though? If she'll like it then there's no harm giving it to her -it's about what she likes.
    If you think she's prefer the other girl / isn't a fan of this one, then maybe get a refund and find something else.

    OP, if you still have the receipt bring it back to easons and explain.

    I'm sure they will let you exchange it for Laura Birmingham's.
