Malahide to Glasnevin

I have a job interview tomorrow on Botanic Avenue in Glasnevin. Just wondering what would be the best way to get there from Malahide? I'm thinking down the Malahide Road, left at Grifith Ave, Left at Drumcondra Rd. Would that be my best bet traffic/distance wise or would there be an easier way? I've checked on Google Maps and there were other alternatives but I find them more confusing than that route. Also if I do get the job how long do you think it would roughly take me in rush hour traffic? Thanks for any help, not familiar with driving around that area at all.

Edit: Would taking the Ballymum exit on the M50 and go to Glasnevin from there be any better?

I'd go with Malahide Road and Griffith Avenue and Drumcondra (Fagan's is the landmark to look out for) as it tends to move, albeit slow.

M 50 and Ballymun is a longer route and it has the notorious N 32/M 50 junction to contend with; though if you can come onto the M 1 at Airside, it does make sense :)

Thanks for that. The interview has been moved to Monday now but I think the Malahide Rd, Griffith Ave route might be the best alright thanks. Any idea how long that drive might take in rush hour traffic would you know?

I'd allow 80 minutes from start to finish to be safe (remember, it is an interview and rush hour) but I'd expect it to be far less; maybe 45.

Googlemaps has a slightly novel routing, but I'd avoid the laneways of North County Dublin. Note Botanic Avenue is quite long, so allow time for finding the address.

Bus wise, you could take a 102 to Swords or the Airport and any non-express bus to the city centre. Alternatively, any bus to the city centre (the 142 uses the Port Tunnel) and then any bus to Drumcondra or Ballymun.

Alternatively train to Connolly and then Drumcondra, but its a fair walk, depending on which end of Botanic Avenue.
