Snug directly on the left as you enter from Quinlan St.

I know it's not a snug but a place I love to go in the afternoon/early evening is just inside the door, to the left, of Mickey Martins by the fire. There's nothing better than sitting by the fire on the benches with a pint and something to read on a freezing cold day. The fire in Nancy's is nice too but I prefer Mickey's.

Yeah - I know what you mean. Very snug though in the literal sense of the word! Should be more fires in pubs.

One of the nicest experiences you can have is sitting in a nice quiet pub, haveing a creamy pint of stout in the afternoon, during a dready winters day, with the rain and wind outside, everybody else at work, only you and the paper and a pint and the fire.....

It'll be pretty hard to get them all in any kinda coherent order.

If I was to do that kinda crawl myself, I'd leave out a couple of and go:

    Fenessys
    Dan Reddens
    Souths
    Tom Collins
    Jerry Flannerys
The Locke (bit out of the way)
Nancys (because it'll stay open late - but don't expect the snug to be empty when you get there!)
