One of the checks and balances of the system, I suppose. ;)

Surely these fellas would have to actually turn to Dail sessions to be censured in the first place?
Last time anyone saw a full house? Last time I remember was the last speaker's resignation speech. After that, it emptied out to its normal late night cinema numbers.

In theory Communism is great. I don't think I would take offence to being called a communist, better than being called a Fianna Failer or Fine Gaeler!

    No, it really isn't.

Yahoo & not Google?!! And what the heck is a Corner Boy.. is that like a rent boy who never gets picked up? Or a Corkman who loves his "Dirty Dancing" pick up lines just a bit too much...

Did I really hear it reported that after Corner Boy Gogarty shamed our Parliament, his Family, The Green Party (Have no shame) and the Nation that he actually sat back down, consulted the above list and once he decided the fúck was not included on it later arose once more and pointed out this ommission in his own defence?

To be brutally fvcking honest, I think the Dail could do with more unparliamentary language if it's what it takes to shock some of the lazy cvnts in there into doing their jobs.

Who gives a damn what they spout in the Dail unless it's the budget, a piece of proposed legislation or an 'aye' or 'nay' on that proposed piece of legislation? It's what they do in cabinet, their various ministries, committees etc. that counts and actions speak far louder than words, regardless of how parliamentary those words are.

Anyone else think it's utterly outrageous hypocrisy is on that list?

Maybe that's been the problem all along - they could safely stand there wittering and whining on indefinitely and it was actually prohibited to point out their massive hypocrisy.

    - It would certainly explain a lot.

    "Chancer" is my favorite.

    Yahoo & not Google?!!

"Yahoo" is presumably a reference to the fictional characters in Johnathon Swifts Gullivers Travels. At the time of publication to be called a Yahoo - effectively dirty, lazy and good-for-nothing - was very insulting.

    No, it really isn't.
There are many brands of communism, just as there are many capitalisms: just as it would be ridiculous to damn capitalism because of workers' conditions in the industrial revolution, it's simplistic to condemn communism because of Stalinism

Gee, I never knew that. Me and my monotonal interpretation of things, eh?

I'm not convinced that that is the full list - I think the indo picked that list up from other reports which all say "includes"

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

According to an unconfirmed source, the word "chancer" was put onto the list by Bertie Ahern before he became Taoiseach.

Joe Higgins is a communist, but doesn't call himself one, so yeah I suppose.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.
