How long should I wait?

    Hi,

    Broke up with my boyfriend almost 3 months ago now. The break up is going well and we both think its for the best.

    My question is silly really. I haven't slept with anyone since we broke up. Is 3 months an acceptable time to wait? We were going out for 3 years (I don't know does that part matter)

    You're single now, you can sleep with whoever you want, whenever you want. If you feel you're ready to be with someone else, then go for it. I don't think there's a waiting period, just do whatever feels right really.

    there is no set time to get over someone before you get under someone else. just wait until you meet a nice guy and go for it :)

    The inevitable answer to this question is 'when you're ready' and I knew that that is what people would be saying before I even clicked in here, but it's the simplest answer and it's accurate.

    For some, that's shagging the first thing they meet on the rebound, for others, it's sitting back a while and seeing what happens... In my experience any time I ever set out to get some action it never happens so just enjoy yourself and see what falls onto your lap.

    Not literally......!
