Connecting a range cooker to a chimney liner

Does anyone know how to connect an existing range cooker to a flexible steel chimney liner?

The cooker too big and heavy to pull out and then push in again. Apparently the liner is in the chimney but just dangling down it and not physically connected to the cooker. The householder is having problems with what appears to be condensate on some of the chimney breast internal walls on the first floor.

    Thanks in advance.
