Just trying to think if its worth it...I wouldnt use the microphone and already have a guitar hero guitar. I would like it for the drums...but you gotta buy the game separately...hmmm.

If its been going for a few months it cant be clearence it must be just a good offer. Therefore there shouldnt be any need to rush.

I dont know a whole lot about this kinda setup but correct me if im wrong, cant you use a second guitar as a bass guitar?

band hero is more kid orientated. ie: more pop songs/etc.
there's extra downloadable (paid) content/songs available for rock band tho, which may help with the whole pop/kid song thing.

band hero is a different franchise, made by the people who make guitar hero..general consensus is rock band is much better a game.

You could buy this package, and then pick up the Band Hero disc elsewhere (on xbox/ps3....think theres problems with wii compatibilty between the games..)
Would probaly work out best. Get two games, + the instruments. Likely cheaper then the Band Hero package with instruments, altho i haven't actually checked that.

the reason i ask is i have the bandhero for my son and my dad has one for my lil brother but if they are similar i might bring them back and get the rockband bundle instead.

The compatibility matrix doesn't cover Band hero yet but anecdotal evidence from this thread says that RB instruments work in Band Hero, and the Guitar Hero help forum suggests that this is correct :

Band Hero is compatible with all previous Guitar Hero Wii guitars.

Band Hero is also compatible with all Rock Band 1 & 2 Instruments such as the guitar, bass, drums, and microphone.

Band Hero is compatible with all Guitar Hero drum sets.

Band Hero is compatible with the Guitar Hero and Rock Band microphones (Logitech Microphones).

As far I know bandhero has the best instruments and thats a huge plus..also you can play the majority of the the other band packs through the band hero instruments, i.e rockband 2 and so on, I had a hard time working out what to get my daughter..was very close to buy the beatles pack for 200e, but the dude in store reckoned bandhero bundle for 150e was the best bet as it has the best instruments and like i said it plays most other software. So really you should just ask what other software bandhero can play to be certain..if your in galway, the lads upstairs in smyths would help you out with that. Although Banjo (post above) seems to have the info you need.
