When to give wedding gift?

Just wondering do many people still give presents on the day of the wedding or do you give it to the couple before/after the wedding? What are peoples views on the best time to give/get the present?

Depends, if its an actual present i'd give it either before or when they get back from honeymoon. If its money/vouchers or something physically small like that I'd give it to the best man on the day.
