The route for next year's Vuelta has just been announced. Looks like a tasty one for the climbing fans. Six mountain top finishes and only one individual TT. They're also replacing the gold (really yellow) jersey for the overall with a red jersey.

I'm hoping to ride the new Bola del Mundo climb over Christmas if it isn't snowed in (which is quite likely actually).

I might try and make it to the opening stage. Would be cool watching them TTT at night. I assume they will have cars following with big lights on but what would happen if one is dropped?? Thought the Vuelta was the best GT this year

Wow a grand tour not starting in Holland :)
Night time TT seems like a bit mad, can't wait to see it.

It's quite short, so it could well be on lit roads.

    I trust they'll be wearing hi-vis.

I'm sure those lycra louts will be doing no such thing (except Liquigas). They probably won't even keep to the left.
