    just an enquire how much would a first time professional boxer get paid for a local fight. Im a martial arts instructor who has alot of respect for boxing but with mma ego heads thinking that there the best thing since sliced bread i would like to see the purse diffence. let me know thanks

    not to sure what the difference would be, it depends on if the person can sell tickets or not or has talent to work with,

    anybody see the recent fights on tv or streaming -paul williams vs sergio martinez, i had both on at the same time the mma was on tv ..i was lucky enough to get a good stream to watch the whole boxing card arreola minto was treat to watch also, i dont think i took my eye of my laptop and went to bed dreamy at times boxing is second to none:)

    How would the purse make any difference to a persons ego?

    Boxing generates more money than MMA. Pro boxers are usually boxing 15 years before going pro, MMA could go pro after 1 year...

    The 2 are not like for like and different sports.
