they're not too strict, but i'd say anything with a detachable lens and you'll have problems

Id say the most youd get away with is a bridge camera.Seen plenty of Sony H50s ones like that but never any SLRs

What's the point of bringing a camera? So you can post your blurry, crappy pictures on Facebook? Why not just sit back and enjoy the show? Now there's a novel idea.

The whole point of bringing an SLR camera is so the pictures don't turn out blurry.
Don't care about facebook just want nice pictures for my sister as it's her first concert.
I have taken pictures at plenty of concerts (that's my job..) and still enjoyed the show (:
plus we have seats in the 4th row right beside the stage so I think pictures will turn out pretty decent

To the OP: It depends on where you are seated, but yeah you can get some decent shots, however as you may know you can be there the whole night taking 200 photos and only 20 of those are worth holding onto. If you're no too bothered about sitting back and enjoying the show then try bring the camera in*.

    * I'm not sure what the position is on bringing in cameras, especially SLR though
