Just starting out on the acoustic solo scene, plenty of ideas, some songs written and well received (so far!) . . . any tips on how best to get out there, into the scene (ie. are there certain pubs, groups, networks worth being involved with) or is it as straightforward as pick up the guitar and get down to Temple…

Just starting out on the acoustic solo scene, plenty of ideas, some songs written and well received (so far!) . . . any tips on how best to get out there, into the scene (ie. are there certain pubs, groups, networks worth being involved with) or is it as straightforward as pick up the guitar and get down to Temple Bar??!

Also, I'm sure anyone on this thread understands the sometimes beautiful, sometimes mammoth task of lyric writing...any tips/links/suggestions would be very welcome...:)

I've been puttin this adventure on hold for too long, can play the guitar, and love singin....so hopefully i'll be out and about sharin some tunes with you all soon, and maybe I'll be able to answer some of my wn questions if I haven't heard from you guys by then:rolleyes:
