I have basically run out of lenses, I wont be able to collect new batch until tomorrow. As a result, I have placed the pair I wore today back in their capsules and I put some solution into them. Is it ok to wear them tomorrow?

Please dont. The lenses arent sterile. All sorts of bacteria can infect the lenses and as a reault your eyes when they're left like that.

As soon as you crack the seal on a new pair of lenses they aren't sterile anymore - not to mention that you have to touch them to put them in and that has the potential to introduce any number of different bacteria. Does your solution disinfect? If it does then as long as you soak them for at least 6 hours you should be fine. They won't be as comfy as a nice fresh new pair though!

My optician gave me some disposable lenses in case I lost my gp ones where I wasn't able to get a fast replacement, and told me that as long as I used excellent hygeine, I could wear them for a day or two before replacing. Of course, I wasn't to make a habit of it, but could do it in a pinch.
