New Mac Mini, No USB Keyboard to set up a BT Keyboard

I've just bought a Mac Mini and I've got a bluetooth keyboard. I was told that a connection wizard would help me set up the keyboard when it didn't detect a USB one. However the Mini is just telling me switch on my mouse. I'll be able to get a keyboard tomorrow but in the meantime does anyone have any idea if I could use a Macbook as a keyboard somehow? Or maybe an iPhone? I'm just sitting here looking around like MacGyver for things to use.

You could use Screen Sharing, although it's unlikely that it'll be enabled (or even that a network connection would be up and running) if you're just setting the machine up for the first time.

It doesn't get very far before asking for the mouse. Just past the chime so nothing's running except bluetooth.

My Macbook Pro can see it over bluetooth but if I try to pair a box comes up on the Mini asking me to accept it by clicking Yes. :(

Such a basic yet major problem to be having.

OP ... I'll move this to the Mac forum ... it's more appropriate.
