Nissin flashes?

    hi all,
    was in the camera exchange today looking at flashes and the chap said id be saving a fair few bob if i went for a Nissin Di 622 rather than a Speedlite 480. has anyone any comments or opinions on these Nissin flashes anyone use them?

    i have one

    its very good, well put together etc


    only thing to be aware off it wont work out of the box with triggers

    you need to add a little modification

    you need to open up the flash, and solder in a cable to use for triggering

    be careful of the mounts.. its a flimsy bit of plastic .... i broke one and couldnt get it fixed ...
