I've spent a lot of hard earned cash on Boomkat, everything from modern classical to dub techno - definitely my most visited site for online purchasing outside of Amazon marketplace for 2nd hand music.

They are great for reviews which are generally spot on but equally great at getting you to hit the 'buy' button!

They have just released their 2009 Charts which includes their own choices for albums, singles etc along with numerous musicians, producers and DJs from a huge variety of genres selecting their favourites from 2009. Haven't looked through many of them yet myself but looks like a couple of hours could be spent browsing...

its a good site - but i dont like their reviews, they tend to over hype absolutely everything, which i find really headwrecking, as a result i dont even look at the reviews anymore
