    Hey guys.

There are 2 laptops in PC World at the moment. They are on the homepage pcworld.ie

Both are in my price range. What one would you recommend?

Also would I be beter of waiting untill after Christmas. Will they be any cheaper? Do PC World usually have a sale?

They both look like ripoffs to me to be perfectly honest, and that website annoys the Sh*t out of me.

Thanks for the advice. Is there anything out there you would recommend?

    Hi Dedon,
You cant really go too far wrong with the Toshiba's. I've been using them for years. Traveled all round the world with my current one and came out unscathed. Salesman dropped it from 3 feet and then switched it back on no problem to prove a point!
Saying that the PCWorld one does seem a little pricey for what you get. If you want to save a few quid have you looked at laptopsdirect.ie? Otherwise hunt around the PC shops and bargain with them. They all want to sell these days even if they lose a few quid in the process. If you can hang on till after Xmas you'll save a good bit too!

The newer Satellite Pro are always a safe bet in my opinion...

I'd second that, we've got 2 and the young lad treats his badly, it fell 2 meters onto a tiled floor, still working.

When my 3 and a half year Toshiba laptop needs to be updated I'll be sure to get another Toshiba.
