I got a 24pk of Coke 330ml (or is it called 33cl now?) in Dunnes in Dundalk for €8.99 as well, so it appears to be in every Dunnes.

Funny enough the 7up in the same store was €9.99 for 24x33cl cans.

Tesco offer 2x 6 pack Cans of Coke Cola for 4.50 euro

    That's 24 (4x 6 packs) cans for 9 euro. :D
    I stocked up last night.

No special offer for the 12 pack and I didn't see a 24 slab. Not sure if Tesco do 24 slabs.

Does anyone else notice that the coke in the multi-pack cans doesn't taste as nice as the stand alone stuff? Or is it all just in my head?!

I've heard others say the same, can't say I've noticed but then again I'm more a Pepsi person.

It can't really because it's all canned in the same place, probably more to do with the fact the multipacks are never refrigerated in the shop, whereas single cans are. And maybe because you drink more with multipacks (I know I do!) it doesn't taste as nice.

surely the cans are all coming from the same source but just packed differently? They arrive in slabs to the shops that then open and sell as single as well don't they? Must be in your head.

Do a blind taster test to confirm

Yea drinking too much at home becaise you have a multipack could be the reason they don't taste as good as the one off when you're out and about and really thirsty.

I agree its not the same, i think its because they are sluicing it out at a rate of knots with lesser care to fulfill demand. The same with boxed tayto and king crisps at christmas time imo.

Thats it!....you need to put them 24 hours in the fridge, it says "best served cold" for a reason! :P
