I bought an 8gb Ipod Touch for my son for christmas and have benn checking it out so that it works on the day. I'm having no liuck connecting to the internet. It connects to my wifi router ok but can't seem to connect from there to the net.

When I press the button to link to the itunes store I get the message "Invalid argument" and when I try to connect via safari I get a grayed out screen stcuk on "connecting" which freezes the safari application.

I done a full restore on the device and restarted the router but to no avail. The router is I have the Bewan Vodafone DSL Router model no. ARV4510PW-A VFI and I can't locate a user guide guide on the internet. Before I return the device to the shop I thought I'd see if anyone else any other suggestions. This seems to be a common problem with this device judging from a google of the issue.

I've sorted the problem. I changed the router encryption from WEP to WPA (at least I think thats what I did ;)) and the ipod touch connects to itunes and safai now.
