Welcome to the volunteerism forum of www.boards.ie
This is a forum to discuss all things volunteering. Community spirit can make a crucial contribution to the fabric of society and the quality of life of those who volunteer and those who are helped by volunteers.
If you are interested in contributing to one or more of the subjects contained in the threads of this forum it is a relatively simple process of registering. You only have to register once to be able to post on this forum and hundreds of others across boards.ie if you so choose.

It is worth taking the time to read about the guidelines for posting on boards and remember that each individual forum has its own forum specific charter to help maintain an effective forum Volunteerism charter. A decent level of respect for fellow posters, good site-wide practice and the moderators/admins that help maintain the forums is important. Try to stay on topic in posting a new thread or contributing to an existing thread. This site is for the members who contribute freely and people who read so don't try to make money out of the site. In a sense you get out of it what you put into it so think about your post, ask reasonable questions and try to help others where you can.
