€150-€200 compact digital camera for christmas present

    I am looking for a compact digital camera somewhere around €150-€200. It is for Christmas for my daughter and I have left it a bit late. She already has a digital SLR (Nikon D60) so I am not looking for anything like this just something small that fits into a pocket. Something in and around 8mp and x3 optical zoom or higher with a lithium battery and an SD slot (i.e. not Sony)

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    check out the Panasonic Lumix range. Something like the FX37 might suit the bill.
