Production Costs of The Late Late Show

    I recall a few years back RTÉ released a spreadsheet breaking down the typical costs of one episode of The Late Late Show (they were seeking a licence fee increase at the time and tried to illustrate value for money as it was much cheaper than a similar production in the UK). If I'm right the final figure was around €200,000 or €250,000 an episode? I've tried searching for it again online but to no avail -does anybody have a copy of it or was it just in my head? I'm not intending for this to turn into a debate about RTÉ wasting money just want to see the breakdown of costs again! Let's see where this goes...

    How would it cost that much? I'm almost certain they don't use disposable cameras.

    The average price for a hour of TV in the UK is £250,000.

    Thats for Channel 4...
