Zavvi "awaiting despatch"

    Hello ,I've currently got an order with zavvi and it's stuck at awaiting desptach the last five days.
    I've mailed them ,but haven't got a reply.

    Is this just a glitch in there system ,my card was charged on the 8/12 for the order.

    I got that aswell. Emailed them on the day after the item was estimated to be leaving them. 2 minutes later the status changed to being despatched, and another 2 days later i received an apologizing mail.

    Sorry to hijack the thread.

    Does anyone else have experience of Zavvi.co.uk? They have some seriously cheap prices on games but I'm wondering about their delivery. They advertise free delivery but does that include to the Republic? is the delivery prompt? Btw I'm not worried about getting stuff in time for xmas.

    Zavvi aren't the only ones with conflicting info on their "dispatch" dates http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055768435.

    I'm assuming these internet shops can't handle the volume. Can't imagine Ireland's too high up on their list of priorities either...

    I got this item a couple of days ago ,sorry for not getting back.

    I've never had much trouble with zavvi ,apart from it taking nearly two weeks with every order.
    The problem with this order was ,it was out of stock when I ordered .Then when the item came into stock ,the order got stuck at "waiting despatch".
