Considering 6 nights or so in lyon in feburary, with possibly 3 days snow boarding in the alps, any ideas how easy is it to get to the resorts, any links for good deals on rental, ski passes, etc.

And not on the subject of boarding, but planning a few days seeing the sights of lyon as well, any thing that is a must see?

    Thanks in advance.

Loads of good places to ski or board near Lyon. Take your pick. There are buses from the airport itself to most resorts in the area.

From what I've seen of Lyon, I'd be inclined to spend more days on the snow, fewer sight seeing. Apart from anything else, Lyon in Feb will be cold and dark.

Lyon is a nice little city - easy to get around. But you'll prob see it all in two days. Some great restaurants though!
