Bank Transfer On An Ebay Item

I made a bad mistake when bidding on an ebay item. I didn't check the payment methods beforehand.

I only ever pay with paypal but the item that I won must be paid for by bank transfer.

I'm just wondering is there anything I should be careful about or aware of before making a bank transfer? Is it an easy process? What information will I need to pay?

Fook me and my stupid mistake.

Was it a seller based in Germany? They're quite fond of using bank transfers.

I've bought a few items from Germans using this method, not stung so far!

You'll need the IBAN and BIC code of the seller if he's not within the country.

Why would you go ahead and pay if you are not happy with the transaction?

Was it a Buy it Now or an open auction?

i had to do that once or twice its no big deal, just fill out a form at the bank and post it too the seller

I actually got the exact same item with a couple of extras for just less than what I paid for this, after I made the initial purchase. I was able to pay for the second transaction through paypal. I'm thinking about emailing them and saying I entered the wrong amount for the item.

    It was an auction.

No need to go to the bank, it's a EUR SEPA payment which means you'll need his IBAN and SWIFT (he'll send them to you) and you can enter it in yourself via your online bank.

You have no comeback if he doesn't ship the item or it's SNAD.
