Who is doing best trade-in deals for phat 40gig to get a new 120gig slim

    Hi looking to pick up a slim before xmas and want to trade in my 40gig in, is it only gamestop & Game who take trade-ins? Which of them will give me a decent deal, do you have to wait around for them to power up your old one to make sure it works?

    Gamestop gave me a better deal when getting a slim. yeah they will make sure the console boots up :)

    Hmmm.. How much do they give you? I'm thinking of trading in my 60gb before it kicks the bucket...

    i got a slim for 103 when i traded in a 40 gig, think i was originally quoted 130 but i traded one or two games with it, gamestop ennis
    and ya they tested it for 10 mins...it was on the way out, but it worked fine for the 10 mins or so they spent checking it,
    i hope some poor kid doesnt get it off santy now !!

    yeah I think I got €205 back in september. I dunno if you would get that now. Give em a ring sure.

    I got 200 and a free game in GAME

    that was back in october so I don't know what its like now

    ok cheers lads think my laser is on the way out so might not be worth the risk then as knowing my luck it will fail in the store :(
