it's cheap, whether it's value for money or not is another thing - myself and my brother in law had the argos controllers, we both upgraded very, very shortly afterwards - mine kept on losing connection - in saying that if they're still charging 55 quid for a sony controller, maybe it's the way to go (i got mine up north for £35 - in argos).
I don't know their remote control, but i bought a game one in xtra vision for €10, i also took it back and upgraded to the official sony controller - the game version was basically the same as holding the normal ps3 controller, it had no more functionality and was too small to hold properly (maybe i've just got big hands!!) - moral of the story is, it hurts, but there's little point in not buying the official merchandise imo.
