just a few mins ago i must have pressed a button that caused my internet webpage to go into full screen mode....causing me to be unable to se the aero peek function..and also I have to hover at the top of the page to get the drop down tool bar menu to appear.

Anyone know how to revert to my other set up?

    That's maximised, not full-screen.

Full screen doesn't have such a button, or indeed any buttons... However if you hover the mouse at the top of the screen, the restore button will appear.

Thats what I said. Begging your pardon m'lord for not screen-capping my own image, but its the same button for all intents and purposes.

Not really on my machine or any other machine I've seen (F11 will work, the max/window button may work but might require an extra step depending). The problem's been solved for the OP so the swiping-that-makes-no-sense is a bit redundant in any case. Group putting away of the comparison peepees maybe?
