    Hey all,
sorry if i should be posting this in another thread but i need a few bits of advice.

First off there is a 120gb ps3 with modern warfare 2 with it in gamstop for 300.Is this a good deal?

Second, l have a psp with about 7 games and movies with a carry case. I think ill have to sell it to raise funds for the ps3. How much is it worth?

And last should I wait until Jan for a better offer on the ps3.

    Thanks,
    Luke Delaney.

I got that deal and was happy, but you can get a ps3 120gb for €250 on its own I think in Power City or Harvery Norman, so if you don;t want call of duty it's not an exceptional deal.

The psp you can check by looking at what they go for on adverts.ie

And the ps3 slim just came out recently, so I'd imagine the price won't drop much in January, but you never know. I'd say you'll get some games pretty cheap then though, and maybe a better deal.

If you take the PSP and all the games and movies into GAME, GAMESTOP or other places like those then you can use it as a trade in and get money off

I'm not sure would you be better off after christmas because the console isn't likely to come down in price for another while, 6 months maybe

The deals that are out there at the moment are probably the best they will get as I can't see any good games coming out in the next few weeks that would change the deals

All in all, I would say it's a good deal, but shop around the other places. You may just find the perfect deal for you

The early 2010 PS3 release schedule suggests otherwise, some will be bundled (I think MAG and Heavy Rain will be bundled). So if anything takes your fancy there and you can wait...

I don't think there will be a price cut if thats what you're waiting for.

Shop about for the best instore bundles, I got a 250GB slim with 3 full price games for E350 in GAME, HMV had the same deal but Gamestop had nothing remotely similar so it pays to look around.

Try and sell your PSP yourself (perhaps on adverts.ie) before taking it to one of the retailers for a trade in as they will most likely offer you significantly less than you might get from a private sale.
