pog it

with 2.5k what is the best model one could get, that is 1.2 or 1.4 litre, and as stylish and as new as possible,, as in could you get something decent that is no older than 2004/2003 reg?
petrol or diesel.
not peugeot as i have heard they can be hard on fuel.

cheers for suggestions.. it will hopefully help me make up my mind once and for all!

btw that is complete and utter rubbish. It depends entirely on the car and the engine.

Why not go onto carzone and see what kind of cars you can get for €4000 less and work from there?

Plenty of fiat pandas in that range, although they're not the nicest looking of cars on the road.

You will be hard pressed to find something decent that is stylish between 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre and no older than 03/04 on a small budget of €2,500.

I would look at something like a Ford Puma, fun to drive, cheap to run and pretty stylish:
