Double Payment??

I know that it was ended and all... but a friend of a friend advised that she got a double payment on the jobseekers allowance today. Is this still going ahead or was it because the PO is closed over xmas or something???

Its a double week this wk,so no payment next wk and then theres a payment the following wk again.Its not the xmas bonus or anything.

It was the xmas bonus that was stopped, the payment that your friend got was indeed due to opening hours of the post office for next week, so she has to make that money last the 2 weeks!! There is a link on another thread here as regards the payment arrangements for xmas.
