Large red spots between eyebrows

Hi, hoping someone can help with an ongoing, annoying problem - Firstly, im a 33 year old male, who exercises daily and has an good, balanced diet - I have been getting large red spots right between my eyebrows for a long time now, that tend to last for up to a month, subside for a few weeks then return - they feel like hard lumps, but rarely divelop into the typical spots, with yellow heads - the rest of my skin is pretty good, although it does get very dry - I have tried using face washes/toners/moisturizers etc (cliniques 3-in1 range) but they don't make any difference - I keep my skin very clean and I'm at a loss as to what is causing it - I wear glasses and thought maybe they were dirty and causing the red spots but I doubt that this is the case - Any help greatly appreciated as I am at my wits end!

Your better off seeing a dermatologist when they come up, the spots could be anything and everything.

A lot of spots are caused by touching. For example, I tend to get spots around my chin becauseI keep touching it. People also find their skin gets better if they regularly change their pillow cases as it harbours grime. Spots on the side of your face can be caused by your mobile. You get the idea...!

Btw, the Clinque 3 step regime is known to be very drying, often overly so and this in itself can cause or make spots worse.

The clinique stuff I use is for very dry skin, I bought it primarily as my skin was very dry on my cheeks either side of my nose and it has helped with that, also I have a lot of blackheads in that area and they were developing into red sores as well, and this has helped with that, now I have the new problem of big spots betwen my eyebrows! I can't figure it out considering I never used to get them as a teenager or in ealy 20's, and my diet couldn't be causing them - regarding the glasses, they aren't actually sitting on the area where the redness occurs, I'm at a loss to be honest of why they are appearing and it is stressing me out because they are so prominent and I meet clients on a daily basis with work and I can see they staring at them!

Could it be a reaction to the clinique stuff? Perhaps that part of your skin is sensitive?

Maybe, as they wer't there before I started using it - I could try not applying it in that area for a while and see if that helps too

I would try not applying it at all for maybe 2/3 weeks, it may not be a reaction as a result of direct application, but your skin reacting in general. Perhaps switch brands. When it comes to skin care I'm useless (god cursed me with freckles and red cheeks but left my skin alone as a concelation prize). I know clinique are one of the best brands available, but there has to be others out there. Armani do a lot of products for men, I know that much so perhaps give them a shot?

How strange, I am also a 33 year old male with the same symptom.
Did you ever find out what caused this, did it go away, or do you still get it from time to time.

I think mine is due to some allergy or other as it comes up in a matter of minutes from not being there.

I drank a lot of milk over the past few days, way more than I normally would.
I wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Normally I just tell my girlfriend it comes up when she annoys me too much because, up until this time, it has coincided with her becoming a pest.

I never found out what caused it, the lumps have stopped but I have a faint redness between my eyebrows still. I stopped using all the toners and stuff a long time ago and I was living in South America for six months and I'd say the sun helped too.

Have you changed your shampoo or shower gel - could be a reaction to it- or have you tried not overcleansing, use a gentle cleanser once a day not twice and see if it helps- could be that your overdoing it and your skin needs to regain its balance.
