    Hi there,
I use a mobile phone 3G USB stick for broadband in my house. So I can't connect the broadband directly to the xbox. My current computer uses Windows 2000 so it also won't connect to the xbox.
So to fix all this I was going to buy a new laptop this week - i.e. connect the 3G broadband to the laptop, then connect the xbox to my new laptop and allow the xbox a connect to the web.
But, it seems all laptops these days come with Windows 7 now. My question is - Is there any problems connecting my xbox to a Windows 7 laptop, and does 32 or 63 bit versions of windows 7 make any difference?
The web site here doesn't mention the new OS so it makes be worried that it won't work

    Any views are much approeciated.

    Later.

    On a more helpful note:

    Enable Internet Connection Sharing

    1. Click the Start orb and then select Control Panel.
    2. Click Classic View on the left side of the Control Panel.
    3. Open the Network and Sharing Center.
    4. Click Manage Network Connections on the left side of the Network and Sharing Center.
    5. Right-click the network connection you want to share and then select Properties.
    6. Select the Sharing tab at the top of the Network Connection Properties window.
    7. Check off Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s network connection.
    8. Click OK to save the changes.
    9. Now you can connect your computer, switch, or wireless access point to the extra network connection on the computer sharing it’s internet connection via CAT5 network cable.
