Hey, with the Luas now going all the way to The O2 I'm thinking of driving to the Red Cow Park n Ride and travelling from there on the Luas for a gig.
Just looking for info on doing this from people who may do this on a regular basis.
My understanding is parking costs €4 for the entire day, is that a calendar day or a 24hr day, i.e. if you come back after midnight will you have an extra charge.
Is this busy could it be hard to get a parking space on a weekend afternoon, will people be using it for Christmas shopping?
How long is the travel time on the Luas from there to the O2?
Will they be frequent getting back after the gig?
    Thanks for any info.....

Think it's a good idea, it'll prob take about 45mins to get in, maybe a little longer. And i haven't used it in a while so i won't comment on the price. Doubt you would have trouble getting a space in it to behonest.

Hi, we just used the park and ride for the Depeche Mode concert on Thursday night, its 4 euro for parking (didn't check the time - but I am sure that the time lasted through to the following day) and there were loads of car park spaces (anytime I use the P&R there are always spaces), it took approx 45-50 minutes to get to the 02, it was jammers by the time it got there, but its never packed getting on at the Red Cow.. didn't get it back after the concert as we met someone who gave us a lift - so don't know how long you will be waiting to get a space on it travelling back. Hope this helps!. :)

I live on the red line and from my experience Heuston Station is where the greatest number of people get off/on so from that station onwards you'll feel like you're in a can of sardines until maybe Jervis or Abbey St.
