    Article on Bad Cycle lanes in ireland in the Metro this morning... Backs up most of the complaints that this forum comes up with.

    Cycle in the city -- you must be mad! is a headline that doesn't match the contents of the article. There is nothing in the article about urban cycling being dangerous, per se. Just that many cycle facilities are more hazardous than the road is. Which is not news to experienced cyclists, but probably a real surprise to everyone else.

    which is great for it to finally be pointed out to them, so they can stop giving me socks for not using the crappy AND more dangerous cycle lane they think exists beside the road.
